Having difficulty getting a clean code for Scene 2 lighting on a GRX 3006 AU lighting unit.

Have downloaded all lutron codes from the files section, and have clean working codes for scenes 1,3,4 of short length ie 9 or 10 burst pairs. Yet some codes from the same ccf file refuse to work. IE scene 2

I also have some working codes that do the job of scene 2, Quick off, Fade off, Master up and down commands, but they all seem very long, 112 (0070 hex)burst pairs. I want nice short clean codes if I can get them.

I can't learn my own codes, as I do not have original remote.

What protocol does this system use? Decode ccf does not seem to recognise any of the codes and bring up any answers.

Neil

The Lutron site has an Excel spreadsheet with all codes and a ccf. [Link: lutron.com]

I believe that is the same as is on the files section here. I have tried it from here, but the secne 2 code under the basic section does not work. But some very long codes from other peoples leanred codes from this site do, but I would like to have had a cleaner shorter code.

I will try from the Lutron site, and see, maybe the ccf file on here is out of date.

Will let you know what happens

If the code works, don't worry about it.

Daniel, I understand what you are saying, but when you can have started with a code like:

0000 0066 0062 0000 0333 0115 005b 0115 005b 005b 016c 005b 005b 0115 0115 005b 005b 01af 0333 0115 005b 0115 005b 005b 016c 005b 005b 0115 0115 005b 005b 01af 0333 0115 005b 0115 005b 005b 016c 005b 005b 0115 0115 005b 005b 01af 0333 0115 005b 0115 005b 005b 016c 005b 005b 0115 0115 005b 005b 01af 0333 0115 005b 0115 005b 005b 016c 005b 005b 0115 0115 005b 005b 01af 0333 0115 005b 0115 005b 005b 016c 005b 005b 0115 0115 005b 005b 01af 0333 0115 005b 0115 005b 005b 016c 005b 005b 0115 0115 005b 005b 01af 0333 0115 005b 0115 005b 005b 016c 005b 005b 0115 0115 005b 005b 01af 0333 0115 005b 0115 005b 005b 016c 005b 005b 0115 0115 005b 005b 01af 0333 0115 005b 0115 005b 005b 016c 005b 005b 0115 0115 005b 005b 01af 0333 0115 005b 0115 005b 005b 016c 005b 005b 0115 0115 005b 005b 01af 0333 0115 005b 0115 005b 005b 016c 005b 005b 0115 0115 005b 005b 01af 0333 0115 005b 0115 005b 005b 016c 005b 005b 0115 0115 005b 005b 01af 0333 0115 005b 0115 005b 005b 016c 005b 005b 0115 0115 005b 005b 1998

Found one like:

0000 0063 000f 0002 0357 011e 005f 011e 005f 005f 017c 005f 005f 011e 011e 005f 005f 01c4 0357 011e 005f 011e 005f 005f 017c 005f 005f 011e 011e 005f 005f 01c4 003e 0f2a 0001 194a 0001 194a

and finally :

0000 0069 0006 0000 02D0 010E 005A 005A 005A 01C2 010E 005A 005A 010E 00B4 0276

All the above do the same job of scene 1,although the middle one looks totally different as a waveform

I would rather they were all like the last. Yes the long ones work, but take an age to transmit, and ok, so I could go through them all hand edit them down to something like the last, but if some one had them already, nice, short and clean.....I could save the effort.

Well I have gone through the ccf from the Lutron page, and will need to take a selection of codes from the various pages, there is not one page that has a full working set of codes on for this old model I have
