I have an RC5000 w/1mb. Last time I checked, Marantz had not updated Touch Screen Setup to be compatible with XP...Of course, they don't bother to tell you on their website -- has this changed? If so, will it work on my remote or only for later models?

This question has never come up befre..........
Touchscreen setup 2.xxx works just fine on XP computers. its jut not officially "Supported" by Marantz..... However, I've had several phone calls with marantz Tech support regarding remote issues and my OS never even came up.
