I have at home a Philips AZ1209 tape/cassette/CD-Player. Now I wanna built via a SW a Remote which is based on Pronto resp. ProntoEdit. So, I don't have a Pronto by myself.

I've contacted the customer center of Pronto and they said, that the code for this Philips deveice is already built in.

Q: Is there already a link where I can find these built-in IR-codes (for using in ProntoEdit)?

The built-in codes can be selected using ProntoEdit V4.05 and you will need to specify that you have a 2000 or a 6000.

However, they will be totally useless without an actual Pronto.

You can obtain a simple 0000-hex format of codes you search, if you run TSS with RC5000 in developer mode. Select the needed IR code by Device/Brand/Code set, and look into IR code.
I hope, your SW can import these 0000, 5000, 5001 and 6000 codes :)

Just two more questions:

1) What is TSS? Tonto?
2) If TSS (?) runs in RC5000, raises the question, from where does it have the ROM-functionality? Extra ROM-File?

Oh, no!
TSS is Marantz Touch Screen Setup - the "alternative" twin of PE (ProntoEdit). It runs on PC.

This trick is based on those facts:
- RC5000/RC5000i has no internal DB with IR codes, thus thay are not supported 8000-format (recall from UDB).
- TSS has the huge IR DB, so it exports the codes from it into RC5000 ccf at native hex IR form like 0000, 5000, 5001, etc.

And Tonto is a third party programming software that handles all versions of Pronto remotes and clones. A replacement for Touch Screen Setup and Pronto Edit.

How do you do this? I just opened the program and do not see where to click to bring up any of this. I don't see a place to choose it on the emulator, but I have to load a ccf to get the emulator to come up.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
