ok..so i know this has been addressed a million times before, however i had purchased this USB to DB-9 Cable and it still didn't work i think it was a belkin... does it absolutely have to be this cable that has been recommended from CDW. And if so what is the difference...i bought that cable from best buy at 30 bucks so it shoulda worked and yes i did install the new drivers and all, it is XP i operate with. thanks to all for any and all replys.

If you paid $30 for the belkin, you got ripped off anyway... Take it back.....

CDW is just one place to get the Keyspan... I know CompUSA should have it if you have one of those in your area.

I tried that belkin as well, it didnt work. my keyspan just arrived today and fired right up.

I got mine through amazon. Not directly at amazon, but through one of the merchants that lists there.

Belkin is the Terk of computer hardware
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Well, at the risk of being redundant, BELKIN DOES NOT WORK and aww, heck, for everyone that's gonna ask this next week, BELKIN DOES NOT WORK with the touch screen remotes. Best advice I could give - buy a Radio Shack generic - there's a Radio Shack everywhere and it works.
