Hello fellow remoters. I'm new to the community; a proud owner of a new Pronto Pro. I'm getting pretty close to having it all programmed up, but one thing that is bothering me is that I cannot find any source which has the discrete codes for Kenwood receivers.

I looked here: [Link: remotecentral.com] but found none. I've also done some web searches, but I have found nothing.

Anybody have any secret-squirrel codes to give away? :)

Thanks!

Oh, I just searched the forum (should have done that before) and it seems others have the same problem.

One fellow named natasrof1 mentioned this:

"On the Soverign series, You can use the zones for discrete power on, If you turn zone A on when the reciever is in the off state the receiver will power up. If yours does not have Dual Zone capabilities than I do not know."

At first I was excited, but when I tried to do this on the manufactured remote, it did nothing. :/ (I have a Sovereign VR-5090).

try looking here : [Link: remotecentral.com] This has all of the codes that the 5090 will respond to. I have used it myself on quite a few installs.
