A new website, www.prontoedit.com is under construction for the purpose of providing a location for Pronto users to trade config files (.ccf's) as well as post icons.
The site will also be promoted directly to manufactures to encourage them to post their codes and logos directly. Entertainment providers will also be solicited to do the same for their channel icons.
The site will have search engines to make finding codes by device type, mfr, model number etc easier. End users of course will also be urged to post codes and icons to everyone's benefit.
The site will unfold into full operation in time for the upcoming ProntoEdit software.
The site IS NOT a Philips site as this could cause a conflict of interest from other consumer electronics companies and therefore not become "the place to post".
The site is sponsored by Metronet Safe & Sound as a free service to Pronto users.

Jack,

You the man!

Do you have any Prontos in stock? I'm in the Chicago area--so if you do, I'll be in to buy one from you tomorrow.
