I would be most grateful if anyone out there can help me. I have just got a Philips Pronto RU940. I have been trying for ages now to make the remote a bit jazzy and have been using Pronto Edit to put other people's devices and icons etc on to my remote.
My device is obviously communicating with the pc as it uploads no problem, however whenever I add someone else's files to my remote, I get the same error message, error downloading configuration into RC device.

The most common solution is to tap the remotes screen (turn the remote on) just before you attempt a download. Jim L

I just got some new equipment and have been making changes to my CCF as a result. So, for the first time ever, I've used 4.05 to download changes. I was expecting to have to wake up the remote - but it worked every time without needing to be activated. Go figure!
