I'm coming over to the US in Feb for a month. During this time I intend ordering a pronto and the rechard package. I've got 2 questions.

1. Does the recharger work with 240v?

2. Anyone got any pronto's in stock and if so, how much?

The recharger has a 12V (700mA) input. So you can either use a transformer (110V to 240V) to use the included one (which is actually 120V to 12V), or buy an extra transformer (240V to 12V). I recommend doing the latter. I've been using a 110V to 220V converter and it gets really hot, so I'm going to replace it.

Andy,

I agree with Phil, go for the 220/12V replacement from Tandy or similar. The cord is a std bayonet type calculator plug into the dock base.

I have been using the charging dock with a standard 220V to 12V 1000mA "universal" Powersupply here in Germany. costs around DM30 (or US$20) and works fine. (just be sure to set polarity right!)
