Who found the cheapest Pronto TSU2000? I've seen it for $225.95 + $10.95 s/h from avsmarts.com. They also sell the DS1000 docking station for $36.95. Anyone find cheaper, including s/h?

Run down mode?? I know 3000 is coming out, but no one knows when, the price, or even if the 2000 will drop in price. At least not by what I've heard. Do you have any more info?? As for holding out for price on the 6000....she'll have to come down $500 to match the current price of the 2000. You may be waiting awhile if price is an issue.

The 3000 is supposed to replace the 2000. The MRSP is the same as the 2000/1000. When the 2000 came out, the price of the 1000 fell a bit (but not much) and the 2000 came out at the same street price as the 1000 used to be. Some have said the 3000 will come out at the beginning of 2003, others have said end of this year.

The offical price of the 3000 is $399.99. The press release does not mention the 2000 as being a member of the Pronto family.

Just an FYI, I bought one from ecost for $229.00 -- instead of the $399 everyone else sells it for -- and it works great! I have had no problems whatsoever.
