I have a 2 wire cable system. My TV also has 2 inputs. One cable goes through a decoder for pay channels then into the TV (ANT A). The other cable goes right into the TV (ANT B).

My problem is that when I watch a pay channel I have to use the channel up/down on the cable box. For non-pay channels I need to use the up/down on the TV. Is there a way I can setup the Pronto so if I switch to ANT A it will use up/down on the cable box but if I use ANT B it will use the up/down on the TV?

I need to make it easy for my wife to use. Thanks.

Mitch,
Hard keys are assigned codes on a global basis as well as a local(device) basis. With this in mind, if you have both a cable device as well as a TV device, which may look identical, this would allow the assignment of a different IR code for the channel up/down keys depending on which device has been selected.
I think this solves your problem.
Of course it probably also makes sense to send the ANT select on the way into the device menu.
As a PC software beta tester, I'm not sure if this can be done with the on screen software or not, but it definately can be no problem with the PC software.
