First off, Happy New Year All!

Secondly, it's thanks to this forum that I will go with the Pronto as my Home Theater Universal Remote.

Everyone is so damn helpful here. I guess all those years on usenet have made me not used to that. ;-)

Anyway, I plan on buying the Pronto in the next week or 2. I have to see how much damage we caused this Christmas first. ;-) I've read pretty much every Pronto Post on here, but I'm still craving for more info.

Does anyone know if someone has put the Owners Manual online?

I'd really love to read through it. If not, is it real big? So big that asking for an e-mailed/faxed copy to read through is out of the question?

Just figured I'd ask.

Thanks a bunch for your help,

Craig.

Hi,
The manual is about 8.25 x 5.75 inches, sprial bound, 105 pages (double sided). The 105 pages include the index and "Device Reference" which indicates the preprogrammed templates/buttons for 19 different types of components. Counting only the instruction pages, there are about 59. I have not scanned the owners manual into the computer, but maybe another contributor has (Daniel?).

Craig,
I too have not scanned it in and converted to pdf although this is a very good idea.
I'll check if it's available in some kind of test formart(one would think so) and post if acceptable by the copyright owner. They of course should have it in a text format which was submitted to the printer. Of course, it will be up to them. (Philips).
Again though, very good idea.

We've already created a PDF (Adobe Acrobat) file from the manual, and we're waiting on the group that maintains the Pronto website to make it available. Sorry for the delay.
