Hi all,

I have recently added a new Mitsubishi WS-65909 TV to my theater. This model has the built-in HDTV tuner and also has the first rev of "Net-Command", which is a controller of sorts, where the TV will take and relay signals from the OEM remote to the devices. It is barely ready for prime time, as it has a limited # of devices that you can choose, although they have included a good variety of manufacturers, in hopes that any one device from a manufacturer will use most of the same remote signals.

My problem is: I have 3 devices in the TV - Off air antenna, (plugged into on-board HDTV tuner, DVD and a Hughes HDTV DirectTV receiver.

The remote for the TV does not have any direct access to devices, it uses the "Input+ and "Input-" to toggle through all devices. I have found most of the discrete codes I need, from the CCF depository, to access the device directly, Thanks to all who donated!!!

However - when I try and send a code to choose the Sat HDTV receiver (which is connected via component cables) to the DTV input, the TV consistently chooses Input 1.

I have tried two different DTV Mit discrete codes that I have found, but they all choose Input 1.

Now - I recognize that with the built-in Net Command, I may have a complication. However - does anyone have a discrete for a Mitsubishi to get to the DTV component connections?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts or ideas. Sorry for the lengthy note.

Texasbrit - Thanks for the URL to hometheaterspot. It is loaded with great info! BTW - I did find a discrete code that works! It was DTV3 from the Discrete Forum here, under Mitsubishi Projector. I will write a note to Daniel, so he can add a verified discrete for a new Mit model.
