When I fast forward through commercials on the VCR I have to hold down one of the hard buttons for a while. But the Pronto seems to stop transmitting after a while (some sort of time out). Is there a way around this?
Can this "Time out" be adjusted or disabled?
It's not serious but annoying and harder on the VCR and tape than need be.

I had a simular problem, but I did not think it had anything to do with a timeout. I assumed my problem was a lack of touch screen tactile feedback leting me know that I am pressing the FF button hard enough. My work around was to assign FF and rewind to the hard button's on the bottom of the pronto. That made things much easier on me, and I can't think of a better use for them for me.

I am using the hard buttons and they still seem to "timeout". For a while I thought it was me and I let up on the button. But it's the unit. It's probably a saftey to prevent batteries from running down if it got stuck under a pillow or something. But it would be nice if the timeout could be user set.
