A friend of mine gave me a couple of his Palm Pilot screen protectors. He told me their are two types. One type that has adhesive and another that tucks under the edge of the frame. He had the kind that tucked under the edge.

I had to trim it slightly about 1/16 - 1/8 inch on one vertical edge and one horizontal edge.

It does not slide around and seems to have no effect on touch.

Actually, you may recall that I posted a similar inquiry in another thread. Since then, I called a number of decal producers (check your local yellow pages under "decal") and asked if they had any friction adhesive clear vinyl in pre-print form. I picked up a couple of sheets and cut them up into 8 cm. x 6 cm. (which is the size of the Pronto screen). They just peel on and off and don't seem to attract greasy fingerprints as much. It doesn't interfere with the touchscreen in regards to functionality and can be easily replaced on a weekly basis (longer or shorter depending on your circumstances). Cost wise its just a couple of cents per cut sheet ($5.00 CDN. for 24 in. x 28 in. sheet - when cut produces about 135 screen savers). You might even get the decal people to pre-cut them for you. And in case you were wondering "No, my other name IS NOT Felix Unger!"

I just placed order for a pronto. I planned to shrink wrap it as I shrink wrap all my remote control. But I suspect I will have problem because from the picture it seems pronto's screen is lower than other part of the case. It will leave a gap between screen and shrink wrap film....
