After a year of searching I've finally found a supply of Pronto compatible keyboards & IR receivers.

If anyone is interested in the UK
I have 24 receivers for Approx 20.00 GBP each
and 100 Keyboard/receiver packages Approx 55.00 GBP

These enable you to use the Pronto as a touchpad to control your PC.

Conrad,
I'm sure that you could find homes for those receivers,
Do you have to buy all the keyboards aswell?
I'll spread the word around that they are available.

I have to take all 24 receivers, but they will let me take any number of Keyboard & Receiver packages (<=100)

The price for both together is more likely to be 65.00GBP rather than my earlier estimate of 55.00GBP

At the moment I'm just trying to establish how much interest there is. If more people want them we should be able to get the price down.

Conrad.

I would be interested. Would you provide the codes for the receiver so that I can program my Pronto? Or do I have to buy the keyboard too so that my Pronto can learn the codes.

Also does this reveiver work for just a keyboard or does it include mouse controls?

Thanks

Johnny

( Thanks for the link Conrad. )
The receiver allows the use of mouse mode on the pronto. I'm sure that the keyboard commands can be learnt and put into a ccf (there are already files for the KW1009/01 keyboard in the file area, is this the right one? )

I hope you can get enough interest Conrad, I would love to have one of these units.

I'd definitely like to put my name down for a receiver. Where do I sign?!

Here's a Question...

If I have a USB mouse and put the reciver into my PS/2 port will both work together?

I have had PS2 Mouse + keyboard and a USB Mouse + Keyboard all working the same time on my PC with no problems Except that the PC will not see the USB keyboard at boot time if it is plugged into a hub.

I presume that the marantz has the mouse mode - any body want o confirm?

I will most likely be interested if my Airboard receiver won't work for me. I get my Pronto tomorrow so I'll know then. I'm in the U.S. Austin, Texas to be precise.
