There have been several requests here for discrete codes for OmniRemote. The ones most requested seem to be for Sony since the Pronto versions do not transfer correctly in ORDesktop. (Note: This isn't a bug in ORDesktop. The code which translates between the Pronto and OmniRemote IR formats is working correctly. But there are several reasons why the translated codes won't always work with OmniRemote.)

I thought I'd start a thread here to post some discrete codes. If others have codes which they want to share, they can put them here, too.

I'll try to add discrete codes here as they are requested. It can take me awhile to get around to it -- and it takes awhile to do each one -- so please be patient.

I'll follow this post with some Sony discrete codes.

Thanks for posting the discrete codes for Sony products.
I was wondering if you have any for Sony vcrs.
I always missing timed recordings because I forget to turn the power off on the vcr.
Discrete codes for power on ,off would solve this problem when used with the timed macros in Omniremote.

I am a newbie, can someone teach me how ot use Omniremote? I have it and have used an older (not similar) SOny remote to get most of hte functions for my pro-logic receiver. But I need the LD fucntion. The newere remotes with DVD/LD button is not compatible with my old prologic receiver. Any help would be great thanks again!

Get Pronto edit, it's a free d/l, it can be used to copy paste the actual codes into ORDesktop.

I too must give a thanks to PeterS for the discreet codes for the Sony TVs. Now I can program my MX-500 to the max!
