I just picked up one of these remotes from Best Buy yesterday and discovered something of interest to all! I was reading in the manual, and right after telling me how to DIM the display, there was a section telling how to disable the SENSOR through the setup process! Is this new? All I can say about it is that now I have to press the screen in order to wake it up.

That 'section' doesn't appear in my URC-9960 manual ... would you be so kind as to detail what your manual says?

In my new manual on page 11. ADJUSTING THE DISPLAY CONT'D Setting the Vibration Switch (Abridged Version) 1-Press & hold SETUP (the program keys will appear) 2-Press OTHER 3-Using the number keys, enter 985 4-Press HOME twice to exit & return to the last device menu To turn vibration switch back on, repeat steps 1 to 4 Of course, my Kameleon is only a few days old and yours may not accept 985!! Hope this helps!

If you have the B01 version of the URC-9960, you do indeed have the new version.

It's in the B01 user manual.

Perhaps it will also respond to the backlight timeout. Would you please be able to provide me with what your manual has to say in regards to this? I am unable to find a B001 revision manual. Thanks
