hi i have a Denon reciver device code 0160/0004 and i want to program one of the remote bottons to use as tone control and i can't find it in the advanced code list.
any ideas???

Is there a button for tone control on your original remote? If not, then it's likely that it can't be done via remote. If there is, please state the model number of your receiver and how the button in question is labelled and I'll look for it. Rob. http://www.hifi-remote.com

there is no botton on the original remoe named-"tone control" or another that operate this function.
can i control it anyway with the 15-1994?
my reciver model is avr-1801.

A universal remote can only activate functions that are already programmed into the device in question, so if your receiver is not programmed to operate the tone control via infrared commands, there's no way for the 15-1994 to do it.
