I've recently upgraded my remote from a cinema 7 learning to the above remote. My main questions is, is it no longer possible to put a learned code onto any key? AM I now limited to just the 1l-6l keys?
Also, I have a Pioneer VSX-D608 receiver. I am using 0013 for the code and quite a bit does work, but I need advanced codes for channel up and down while in tuner mode. There is now no way to switch between station presets or bands.

Correct. With the 8800/9800 you can ONLY learn onto the 6 dedicated memory keys. It's a real pain.
