Has anyone here been able to get the Cinema 7 to learn surround sound for this receiver? I want desperately to dump the Sony's incredibly poor touchscreen remote. This is the ONLY negative I've experienced with this great unit. Thanks, Dan

I don't have exactly the same Sony as you, but mine also had a 2-way remote that wouldn't speak to my Cinema7. I also have a pronto, which learned the surround commands perfectly. I used the pronto to teach my Cinema7 and all is well.
Summary... It can be done, but buying a Pronto just to do this would not seem to make sense. Sorry I can't be more help.
