Hi,

I bought an a/v producer remote in the US on holiday. On return to the UK I can get it to work some of my kit but not a UK Mitsubishi VCR and a Panasonic DSS (and I've tried every single code). i can get it to learn some commands but obviosuly not even all the 0-9 channel buttons. Any ideas please - the manufacturers were only able to tell me it wouldn't work but I thought I'd have one last try before I ditch it.

The Producer 8 is an upgradeable remote, but to get the upgrades you need to send it in and they will return it with the codes for your devices added. The normal procedure is to call first and get a tag number for your transaction, then you send in the remote to their Ohio address.

Seeing as your over there in Blighty, maybe you could try contacting the UK branch of OFA and see of they will upgrade the remote for you.
