I just purchased the 15-1994 after reading about it here. I'm having problems getting my Onkyo DX-C606 6 disk CD player to power cylcle using the remote. I used a device code of 0101 which seems to give me most of the functions I need with the exception of power. It alway wants to eject the carousel. I went to HiFi-Remote and printed the Advanced codes for device 0101. I don't understand the difference between the upper and lower sections but at the bottom, there are 3 references to code 571 which is the "Power | Eject" code. I tried using code 571 but it continued to Eject the carousel. Any ideas how to resolve this? Thanks

Forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question, but does your Onkyo remote actually have a POWER button on it? I've downloaded a couple of Onkyo files and none of them have POWER buttons included.

Many CD players can only be powered on and off by using the push-in button on the front panel, the idea being that you leave the CD player on all the time, but have it plugged into the outlet on the back of your receiver, so that when you turn the receiver on the CD player will also turn on. This is how it is withmy CD player, but my receiver doesn't have an outlet on it, so I have had to use X10 to control the CD power function.

Rob's right... generally, only mega-CD changers have remote-controllable power. Single and carousel players typically have physical power switches.

You're right, there is no power on the remote. I had just installed everything in a new cabinet and purchased the 15-1994 to simplify everything. Sorry for my ignorance. Rob - Thanks for all the info on your site, it's very informative - Great Job!!!

Thanks Mark, you might want to look at using X10 stuff to control your CD player's power function. There's an X10 forum here at Remote Central if you have questions it.

The 'Plug & Power' button on your 15-1994 is meant to be used for X10 stuff, but I have discovered that it's really a CD button is disguise, so you could program your CD player to that button if you like.
