I would like to program a macro that will select my VCR as an input and then play a tape in my VCR, then switch the input of my television back to my cable box. Can anyone help.

Check out the manual for the 15-1994 at www.hifi-remote.com , it contains a lot more information than the poorly written manual that comes with this remote.
