I own a Kenwood VR-407 receiver(part of the HTB 503 package).I read a couple of posts where some Kenwood remote controls operate at too high a frequency to work with most (or all?) learning remotes.Does anyone know if the Cinema 7 is compatable with my receiver(or are there other remotes that will work-Sony's AV2100 or RM-VL900 perhaps)? Many thanks for anyone's response! BTW:My Kenwood remote is model# RC-R0609.

You should be able to use any One For All remote to work the VR-407. You will need to use device codes 0313 and 0314, and you will need to manually program some of the buttons using "advanced codes".

For more info on advanced codes, check out my site.
