I purchased the new Cinema 6 Learning (6800) and I cannot get the advanced code key programming sequence to work. I do the following:

Device*Setup__**9*9*4**1*2*3*X

Where Device is TV, etc., * denotes flash frome C6, __** denotes wait for double flash, 994 is the 3-digit sequence, 123 is the 3-digit advanced code with flashes in between, and X is where I want to place the command.

The problem I am experiencing is that after I press 12, I get a double flash. The last 2 digits will simply change the channel. For example:

TV*Setup__**9*9*4**5*0**3*1*

Will simply change the channel on my Mits RPTV (code 0150) to channel 31. I would like to program the Input Down funtion (503) to the 1 key on the remote.

Also, if there is any link or thread on this please let me know. I went through the Advanced Code Basics by David B and have had no luck.

Help!!

Please disregard last post. I figured it out. The instructions I was following were flawed. You need to press Setup after 994.
