Is it possible, and if so how, to program advanced codes in a macro?

Thanks

I checked out hifi-remote but all I could find was that this is possible. I need to program a macro to execute some advanced codes for my x-10 system but I don't want to actually program any buttons for this. I need to send a a 16on to my x-10 controller. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I'm still note sure that I follow you, if you want to program a macro to tuen unit 16 on, all you need to do is this:

[SETUP **] 995 ** (button) P&P PAUSE CH+ [SETUP **]

where (button) is whatever button you want to program the macro to. The transport keys are the device buttons for devices 11 thru 16 (ie, rew=11, play=12, ffwd=13, rec=14, stop=15, pause=16)

But, if you really want to do it using the advanced codes, here's what you would do:

[SETUP **] 995 ** (button) P&P SETUP 525 SETUP 622 [SETUP **]

(525 is the code for device 16, and 622 is the code for ON)

Thanks Rob,

I'll try your first suggestion first. I'm new to x-10 so still trying to figure it out.

Tom
