I have a MP3 player called the Mozart Music Box. It is made by McPower USA. I've contacted them several times for remote codes, but they refuse to respond. Is there a way for me to get the codes off the remote they supplied to use with my Producer 8? So far, I've been only able to use the 6 learning buttons.

That's the drag about the Prod 8, you can only use those 6 buttons for learning. You can learn to almost all of the buttons on the Cinema 7 and 15-1994 remotes, but the memory is limited. You can learn to all of the button son the Sony VL900 and you get tons of memory.
The only way to find out what codes your Music Box uses is to have the signals read by a device like the Philips Pronto and look at them.
It's possible (but not that likely) that the Music Box uses the same signals as an existing device.
