I'm using the Radio Shack Universal Remote 15-994 with StarChoice and just made a somewhat cool discovery. When the Program Guide is displayed and you hit the Fav/Scan button the Guide scrolls upwards with just enough of a pause between pages to read the program titles. Hit it once and sit back with your pizza till something good shows up.

I wonder if it would work on other satellite systems?

This remote works great with Star choice systems.I discovered this feature myself a while back and thought "Hey this is handy"

This is a great remote. When I was setting it up I punched in the code for the *C systems and thought that I would have to learn a bunch of discrete codes to get it to work well enough. What a nice surprise when it worked quite nicely with just the 4 digit code.
