Hi,
I just bought a URC-7560 OFA6
But I havce no luck with the given code, for :
- prologic amp Sherwood ES-5030 R
I used : 2650764 sherwood 0491
- satellite receiver Patriot SR 3000 with ST7 remote
I used : 2630630 Patriot 0515

I went to a couple of other URL without finding any help, even got in touch with Sherwood US/UK/Germany
one sending me to the other to finally tell me (I got
my remote stolen) that instead of an OFA I they could
replace my stolen one for so many $...

Please help.

Luc,
What heppened when you tried programming the 0491 code? Was it accepted by the remote (if not you will need to have it added by OFA). If it was accepted, did it do anything to your amp? If you got some functions to work, you can program the missing functions using advanced codes.

Hi Rob,

When I entered 0491 (aud) nothing happened the remote
seems to accept it but the power-off does not power
off the AMP.

I also tried 0502 that was mentioned somewhere on
the forum for another Sherwood piece. Still nothing.

The Advanced codes are not mentionned in the manual,
what are they.

<<When I entered 0491 (aud) nothing happened>>

Then the code is not in your remote, if it was the LED would have flashed twice indicating that the code was accepted.

<<the remote seems to accept it but the power-off does not power off the AMP.>>

If the code really was accepted, was the power button the only button you tried?

<what are they.>>

Check my site.

Sorry Rob,
I did not express myself clearly enough.
I'll try again :
1)- Pressed Aud
- Pressed Magic until Aud flashed twice
- Typed 0491 in -> OFA flashed twice
- Pressed power -> Amp did not poweroff

2)- Pressed Aud
- Pressed Magic until Aud flashed twice
- Typed 991 in -> OFA flashed twice
- Repeated following sequence many-many times :
- Pressed Aud -> OFA flashed once
- Pressed power -> Amp did not poweroff

Is that clearer now.

From what you explained, I will try tonight other keys
than power like Vol+/- ... to see if it make a difference.

Thanks
Luc
