Has anyone had any luck finding advanced codes for this one? Device code 0029 gives me the basic functions but not disc skip, etc.

I don't want to learn the missing keys - need to save memory for all the buttons from my Star Choice satellite remote. I understand from this forum that there are no advanced codes for it. Oh well, we can't have everything.

The quick answer would be to print off one of the worksheets from my site and try all the adv codes to see which ones do what, you can probably create all the missing functions with adv codes.

Just FYI, OFA generally uses the up and down arrows for next and prev track, and the select button for disck skip.

If you post the actual model number of your CD player and can see what i can dig up.

The model # is SL PD887. Am currently having trouble printing the worksheet, but I'll keep at it.

If you can't get the worksheet printed, just go through the adv codes from 000 thru 255. The main advantage of using one of the worksheets is that you normally find the commands all grouped together, when you go through them in adv code order they are spread out over the entire range of numbers, so the worksheet saves time, but both methods work.

I couldn;t find a file for the PD887 and all the files that I downloaded appear to use a different signal.

Thanks for trying. Great forum and website by the way. I had never heard of advanced codes before. Was just looking for product reviews and discovered this secret world. I thought my remote was Clark Kent and it was Superman all the time!

That's kinda how I felt when I first discovered this stuff too, I've had a 15-1994 since last year but I only discovered about advanced codes back in May.

While on the subject of Technics, how about the
model SL-MC7? This is a 110 CD Changer and I
have not been able to get it to respond to anything
with the Cinema 7. Does anyone know anything about
this one?
