That's easy, it's 0571. Remember it's technically a VCR code, so if you want to put in on one of the AUX buttons, you must use 992 to reassign it as a VCR button first.

<<The code you gave me for the Pioneer DVD 525 did not work. I re-mapped it to be a VCR button (code 992) then typed the code you gave me, but no luck. The red light gave one long blink, not two short blinks. Am I doing something wrong with the re-mapping?>>

You must be, I am using both the 15-1994 and the DV525, and I use 0571.

Have you printed the manual from my site to verify each step?

Rob.

I had a similar misunderstanding. Yes the button must be VCR or copied from VCR, but the code used is from the Laser Disc listing. I couldn't get my Sony DVD to work until I tried that. The manual is confusing.

I just got the One For All Big Easy HT Plus URC-5650 universal remote control ... Dunno if this remote is Better then the Cinema Seven. I've heard good things on here about this remote... And went down to Wall Mart. But only could find the Big Easy ONE for all... So, I took it home... And sure enough... It would do everything... Except run my Pioneer 525 DVD player. Even tho... It had a DVD/LD Key. ... Well, all I can say about the BIG EASY is Diffrences are.. Instead of the Star key you have an SELECT Key.. And you get a CRAPPY LCD time display.. Clock Watch. No Lighted keys. And No Favorite Channle list. Other then that. Looks to be an identical to the Cinema seven.. Anyway. I was going to take this remote back and try the Radio Crap.. When I found this web site...

I've remapped all the up down left right and select keys. My DVD couldn't have worked better then my Original remote. Looks, like my Toshiba TV/Onkiyo tunner/Sharp VCR/Pioneer DVD 525 work like a charm... This 14 dollar remote is going to stay with me for a while... I can't see getting any thing more spendy...
Now all I need to do is figure out how to run my sharp vision projector!!! GRIN... And if I didn't have to get up to throw in a DVD... Then I'd probably want a remote for that too!!! :)
