I have a RS 15-1994 and a home theatre system. The Remote seems to take all of the codes for the various components except my Toshiba DVD Model SD-6200 (progressive scan DVD). I have tried to use Aux2 and the code 0503, but the remote treats this as an illegal code. I would appreicate any advice. Thanks.

The 15-1994 regards DVD codes as VCR codes, so in order to use AUX2 for the DVD player, you would first have to re-assign it as a VCR button, like this....

[SETUP **] 992 ** VCR AUX1 **

Then it will accept the 0503 code. If haven't already checked out my version of the manual, you should do so, it's on my site, there's lots of extra stuff like that in there.

I had the same issue crop up a day or two ago--couldn't figure out why the 15-1994 wasn't accepting my DVD device, and figured it out for AUX1 thanks to Rob's site. Thank you Rob!
