If you have a Sony receive that comes with one of those "Vision Touch" remotes, how would you like to receive a free One For All universal remote with the correct codes in it to work your receiver?

If this sounds good to you, drop me a line and I will put you in touch with OFA, they want to borrow your Sony remote so that they can capture the correct infrared signals, and in return they will give you a universal that has the correct device code added.

Sony uses a 455KHz carrier frequency, plus a few other odd things that stops remotes like the Marantz RC-2000 mkII from correctly controlling them. It will be quite the challenge to duplicate...

Well, Universal managed to create a device code for their European remotes to work the IRDA Pace Digital cable boxes, so they've done the impossible before.

If you have a VisionTouch, are you up for loaning it?
