I was looking at the smaller 4 device remote that Radio Shack makes (15-1993). For those situations where all you have are a Cable Box, VCR and TV, it looks like a good remote to use.

Has anyone used this little guy? To all you naysayers with your 10-device remotes, don't underestimate the consumers' need for a bare-bones remote with a lot of flexibility.

Hey Gerald,
I have one of these that I use for the kids TV setup. It's a nice little remote, certainly not bad for only $20. It's a four device remote with TV, cable, VCR and AUX buttons, the AUX button being a CD device button, not an AMP button, unfortunately, but it does have learning and you can use advanced codes.

I have it programmed to work a DVD player also, and I use the numeric buttons as arrow buttons (ie, 2=up, 4=left, 5=select, 6=right, 8=down)

Rob.
