As popular as the 15-1994 is, people often buy it only to discover the code they need is not in it, this is because many device codes had to be dropped to make room for all the extra Optimus/Realistic codes that Radio Shack supports.

To this end, I have created a cross-reference list of OFA device codes which shows if they are in either the 15-1994, the Cinema 7 (URC-7800 version) and the Producer 8 (URC-9800 version). This is based entirely on the code lists from the manuals, so there could well be errors. I spotted a few typos in the Cinema 7's list for example, and the 15-1994 manual makes no mention of cassette codes. As time permits, I will try to verify some of these codes. As I find device codes that were not mentioned in the manual I will add them to the list.

Eventually, I hope to add the actual infrared protocols to this page.

As always, thanks for your dilligence. Was wondering if you knew of any code that would allow me to use the Home Producer 8 with a Mitsubishi MVR-800 receiver and Mitsubishi DD1000 DVD player.

Thanks,
Ray

Ray,
I downloaded a couple of files from the Pronto section and I don't have a matching OFA code for you.

Just FYI, the files I found were for a MVR600 receiver and DD3000 DVD player and it appears that the MVR600 uses Mits device code 238, and the DD3000 uses Mits code 230.

The only OFA Mits DVD code that I know of is DVD/0558 which appears to be Mits device code 239.

Please bare in mind that I don't have a complete file of IR signals yet, so it's quite possible that there is a code out there that matches but I just haven't documented it yet.

Ray,
I just checked DVD code 0521 and it looks like it's a match for your DD1000, so give it a try.
