Help here would be appreciated. The advanced codes for DVD's given by OFA support do not work with my DVD.
I'm using 0539 as a device code.
Thanks.

I've found some the advanced codes thru trial & error for the philips dvd825at but there's more than one advanced code for the ff & rew but these might be helpful.
I listed multiple codes of what I thought to be the most useful advanced codes.
P.S. I did this the hard way by checking every Advanced code by checking every number from 000 to 999

Device code 0539
Here's a list: Rewind x1 299 x2 075
x3 164,331,932,420,480
x8 188,444

fast forward x1 043
x3 013,269
x4 083,493,851,216,224,237
339,472
x8 180,436

slow backward 1/8 027,283 1/8 204,460,291,456

A-B repeat 219,475

Audio select 064,320

Scan 099,355,388

Repeat 172,426

Title-Chapter or T-C 076,332

Open/Close 032,288

Display or osd 058,314

Title 137,393 < neither was this one.
Menu 112,132,368

  track select next 019,275

track select previous 026,011

Slow forward 035,200
1/8 204,460,291,456

Don, you didn't do it the hard way, you did it the really hard way! There are only 256 advanced codes, so if you start from 000 you have covered all the possibilites by the time you get to 255, then they start to repeat, so code 000 is the same as 256, 512, etc

Also, the buttons seem to be in a totally randon order, but there are in fact in what we call OBC, or Original Button Code, order.

If you use one of the worksheets from my web site and test the codes in the order they appear on the sheet, you will find they are usually all grouped together. The numeric buttons will usually all be in order, so once you've found the first couple of numbers, the next ones are really easy.
