I am trying to find 5-digit advanced function codes for 3 of the HDMI inputs (SAT/CATV, BD/DVD and GAME) for a new Sony STR-DH550 receiver. The remote is a Comcast On Demand 3-Device model 1067 which uses 5-digit codes.

I set the remote AUX button to Sony receiver code 31759 and that gives me basic receiver functions, such as Power, Volume, Mute and Channel (FM Preset).

A forum thread from July 2007 on this site ([Link: remotecentral.com]) gave me most of the advanced codes, such as HDMI 1 (MHL), AM/FM, Sound Mode, etc. However, none of those codes from that thread work for the other 3 HDMI inputs (SAT/CATV, BD/DVD and GAME), which are the ones I really need, especially SAT/CATV.

I had no trouble setting my Logitech Harmony 650 remote to control the Sony receiver, but I want to use Comcast remote in another room of my house.

Please respond if you know the 5-digit remote codes for the other 3 HDMI inputs. Thanks!

Try these:

bd/dvd    35278
game    62409
sat/catv    15560
video 1    08393
video 2    65993
tv    45257
sacd/cd    08137
tuner    07881

Your Comcast remote can't do the USB input code unless you buy a JP1 cable ($8 on ebay).

My codes came from here (need join the forum to download and need to install Remote Master software to view the file). All will work on your Comcast except the ones that use Sony20 protocol.

All of the codes worked except BD/DVD and Video 2 (there is no Video 2 on my receiver). The one I really needed was SAT/CATV, so now I have my Comcast remote programmed the way I want. I not using USB, so I don't need the JP1 cable.

Thanks for the quick response!
