Hi, I have a big problem with my new remote: The usb connection to the pc can't be connected. Every time I perform the connection with the supplied cable the remote lits, for some seconds there appears an USB logo "connected" on the remotes display and that's all. Windows 8.1 displays "unknown usb device, not working properly". I tried this with 3 different cables, but its always the same. A second thing is tha I am unable to reset the remote, If I follow the steps in the manual nothing happens, all settings are still in the remote.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Dirk

The Xsight URC 8602  is a HID (Human Interface Device), and if connected to the computer should show up in Device Manager in the HID section.  It is VID 06E7 and PID 8002.

Maybe you can troubleshoot from there.  At least see if Device Manager reports it as an unknown device.
