Hi there,
I've been using the XSight plus for a few months without problem and been very happy with it. But I need to change a macro and I can no longer connect it to the website.

When I plug in to the PC, the remote says "usb connected" and the tray icon goes green, so it's connecting to the PC OK. However, after around 20 seconds, the screen goes blank - although the tray icon stays green. I can't remember if it always did this.

Can someone with an XSight remote let me know if theirs is the same please?

I'm guessing it's not supposed to go blank as when I hit the connect button on the website, it just acts as though there is nothing plugged in.

I've tried a factory reset and used IE and chrome on two PCs and two usb cables.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve.

RESOLVED: Using IE 10, Press F12 and change the browser mode to IE7.

FYI, the remote screen does go blank, but it works fine - it must have always done that!

Hello Daniel,
I guess you succeeded in programming your xsight RC ? Could you confirm it please ? As since a fews month, I can not edit and change my xsight content (upload on web site does not seems to work for unknow reason), I was wondering if my XSight plus is still compatible with last ez-rc sw : ez-rc 1.0.0.308, W7 64b, IE 10 with IE 7 browser mode compatible.
the thread is here :
