hello great form here !!

I have a URC-8910B02 can someone tell me if there is a sound upgrade that i can download to operate a Sharp CV-P09FL portable a/c ?

Maybe this will work. www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php.
Use Setup code CBL 1999.
Assigned buttons:
channel up>>  Temp Up
channel down>>  Temp Down
power   
menu>>   Selector
sleep>>   Timer

I downloaded and upgraded with succes , then selected cbl code 1999 succes . is there anything else i was supose to do ? It dont seem to power on ? thank you for the help !!

That upgrade is for a generic Sharp A/C. Perhaps it doesn't work for your model. Have tried turning it on manually and then trying all of the the 5 buttons? Maybe some buttons will be functional.

Also, to check my translation into WAV format, point a cell phone or other digital camera at the remote while pushing one of the buttons. If the IR LED sends a signal, you can see it in the camera viewfinder.

I checked sending signal , this unit has to be turned on with a remote it kinda sucks ! i was looking at a universal ac remote on ebay but they search for code by shuting it off when it finds correct code . thank you , I would like to program this 8910 remote , I paid top dollar for it back when they first come out !!
