Trying to change input on LN46A650, tapping input works on the 10820, changes the value but does anyone know the command (input 5 for HDMI1, etc) so I can program into a maco? Thanks

Thanks! Problem is, when I hit 'input 00081' or 'input 81' I keep getting a message 'no available'. Any Suggestions? The input command worked fine on my sony receiver and am able to change inputs. Thanks!

That's not how those codes work. While it's true that the number buttons usually change inputs on receivers, they don't on tv's (if they did you couldn't enter channel numbers).

To use the above codes press the setup button then the 5 digit code. You'll have to assign them to buttons to use them in macros. Follow THESE instructions for assigning advanced codes.

BTW, on your sony, the number changed the input. The input button didn't do anything. So you could have simply pressed the number by itself.

Also, if you buy a JP1 cable for your remote, you can do all this programming from your computer rather than press all those buttons. There are upgrade files for both your new devices so you wouldn't have to enter any codes at all. If you are interested in that approach, check out the beginners forum on the site I linked above. There you'll find a cable vendor and all the software you need.
