Forgive me if this has been asked before but I was wondering if there are any codes so I can program my Sony BD player into the Radio Shack 15-100 remote. The remote and manual only shows codes for DVD players.

The RS-100 has no codes which support or can be modified to support the Sony BluRay players. They use Sony 20 protocol, device 26, subdevice 226.

The only UEI based remotes which support the Sony BluRay players are: 15-133, 15-134, 15-135, URC-10820N (but not 10820B00), URC-8820N, RCA RCRP05B.

Of course, any learning remote can learn the codes if you have the original remote. Sony codes are easy to learn. Or you could buy, say, the $20 RCRP05B, and use it to teach your 15-100.

Some people mechanically modify the RS 15-100, and use a JP1 cable to add the 26.226 protocol.

Thanks for the reply. After I posted my original thread, I realized the 15-100 has the learning capabilities. I went through and got the 15-100 to learn most of the functions I need for my blu-ray player. If only I could find a code to open and close the player. The Sony remote for the 360 does not come with a button to do that.

Well,
The Extended Function Code for open/close is 083 using setup code Video 1516. But it isn't possible to program that into the 15-100.
