Can I use the URC 9910 simultaneously with an RF device and an IR device?
I can't seem to contact All For One - e-mails won't go through and I can't find a phone number. I need codes!
TIA

First of all, the 9910 like ALL RF universal remotes are IR only controlling remotes, but use their own RF frequencies to do it from afar.

The 9910 emits both RF and IR all the time, you can't change this even if you wanted.

Thanks, Edmund. So it doesn't matter that the TV is IR and the receiver is RF, I should be able to use it for both, right?
I have another One For All and had to call them to download the code for a different DirecTv receiver. The phone number doesn't work any more. Any idea how to get codes for One for All?

If the receiver is strictly RF, the 9910 will not be able to control it. It has to be able to accept IR commands.

The only RF frequency the 9910 knows is its own, which it uses to communicate with the RF basestation, its the basestation that emits the IR that controls component. So the only thing the 9910 will actually talk to via RF is its own RF basestation, period.

If you mean the tv will be right in front of the remote, but the receiver with help of the RF basestation will be in another room or behind closed doors, then yes the 9910 will communicate with both on the fly.
