I just got a FLM-1911 Polaroid HD TV which is sweet and all, except that the ex-wife of the person if got the tv off of stole the remote among other things in the fall out. Well, I bought myself a HRC-3220 One For All universal remote. The manual has one code for Polaroid tv's, but as you could guess it doesn't work. So I went to the site for the remote, and according to the site it looks like they don't even entertain the idea of making said codes. I need help in one of either two ways. If anyone can tell me what codes for the remote can operate the tv. I tried the scan feature, but its tedious and i did it for 15 minutes and nothing seemed to work. (should I try longer?) Of if anyone can tell me what brand of Universal remotes would work with this type of TV.. Thanks for helping anyone who responds!!

The newest oem remote from UEI includes 14 polaroid codes, 4 of them have never been any remote before. so you're of luck with 3220.

Upgrade to the urc-8910, call the phone # in the manual and they will load the code to the remote over the phone.

I looked up Polaroid TV code files in a few different on-line collections of IR signals. Each model I found had a totally different code set. One had Hitachi's standard code set, another had Panasonic's, another had Mitsubishi's. Others had code sets I don't recognise.

UEI is pretty good at building up their own internal library of code sets by brand, so maybe the 14 code sets Edmund mentioned covers it (so with a few tries with phone upgrades for an 8910 you'd get it solved). But the available on-line data for Polaroid code sets makes me less confident of that.

These are the polaroid codes in the new directv rc64 series of remotes:

10765, 10865, 11262, 11276, 11314, 11316, 11326, 11327, 11328, 11341, 11498, 11523, 11991, 11992.

of course you would drop the first 1 in the setup code if yours only takes 4 digit setup codes.

i dont need suggestions for a new remote i need codes for this one on polaroid tv.
