I've gotten the above TV to turn on and off by using some codes listed for NEC and LG, but I can't get any of the other functions to work with those codes. I've tried all of the advanced codes for TVs, but still no luck. I haven't been able to call the 800 number yet; I was hoping to find something here.

Unfortunately, the 15-2133 doesn't want to learn any of the codes from the unit's remote either; I get the dreaded long blink after every attempt. Are there different IR signals that keep the remote from learning?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Dave

Have you tried TV/0178?

I've tried both codes; I end up with the same functionality as with the NEC or LG codes. I will have to make a point of getting up early enough to get the remote updated over the phone. Thanks for your help.

It's better to tell us the setup codes that you tried (especially any in which one or more buttons worked) by setup code number rather than by brand.

I expect the reason learning failed is because the learning memory is full, not because of anything strange about these signals.

I don't have info on TV/0128.

I'm wondering whether the power code that worked is really coming from the setup code. Might you have learned that code before the learning memory was full?

Try these from the Vizio site:

RADIO SHACK
0031 0004 0048 0049 0053 0170
0009 0227 0342 0000 0012 0041
0042 0095

Their list is at [Link: cdn.vizio.com]
