When you get an el-cheapo remote like the URC-3021 you are limited to whatever codes are pre-installed in the remote, so if you buy a newer device that uses a new code, you're outta luck.
I would recommend that you buy an upgradeable One For All remote because you can then ask OFA to load the code into it when this occurs.
Alternatively, you could get yourself a JP1 compatible One For All learning remote, along with a JP1 cable, and add the code yourself. For example, I could sell you a URC-8910 remote for $19, plus a JP1 cable for $15, plus $5 shipping for a grand total of $49, which would give you a totally future-proof remote.

Durabrand is chained with Lenoxx Sound, Alco, Funai (which would also include Emerson, Sylvania, and Symphonic), Orion, Maxell, Resonance, Initial Technology, and many other different companies.

my son broke the remote control for our durabrand tv ... now he can't play his video games or watch dvd .... any suggestions? please?

For the DU 1301 set, try 092. This worked for me using a Brookstone universal remote. This code is from Emerson. If it doesn't work, just try other Emerson codes.

please help. i have a durabrand model bh2404d with a with a universal electronics atlas dvr pvr 5 device remote and i cant seem to find a code that works. i can get it to turn down the volume and turn off the tv but thats all that will work. any help id appreciate it

After alot of detective work I finally found a code that works with my Durabrand 13 in tv and the Living Solutions 3 in 1 Large button remote. It turns out the code was 096 which was listed in the instructions under the Orion Brand of TV. So I guess anyone looking for a code could try this one.

I have found that on my Logitech 670 URC that the codes for my
Sylvania SST4323 will, unfortunately, also control the DURABRAD
WDT1905. I say unfortunately in that I am in a small nursing home room
and my roommate has the Durabrand and I have the Sylvania. Trying to
comtrol or respective TVs independently is a nightmare! Now that I
have "solved" the Durabrand code question, can someone please help me
get a divorce from my roommate's TV??? :-)

funny...i bought 2 13" Durabrand tvs for my kids when i moved into a new place and they still work today. that was 3 yrs ago.

I used code 052 for my 13" Durabrand TV (Model DWT1905) for my Cablevision remote....just a heads up because the cable guy couldn't do it. go figure.

Thanks for the info. It worked for my Durabrand DWT 2704A on a Direct TV remote. 10171 is it. I have been looking for three days. Your the man.
