I have a Polaroid TDA-03211C TV/DVD and I have Dish Network. Does anyone have codes they have used to program this TV with the Dish remote? I have tried all the Magnavox and others suggested for other remotes.

Tv/dvd combos do not use a tv codeset, but a dvd one instead, that's why searching tv codes fails.

I did the following my Polaroid tv-dvd combo. The code that worked was 10765. It worked the first time and then the remote quit working. I did the following - on the Comcast DTA - I switched the switch from 3 to 4 and back to 3. The TV was itself on channel 3. After that I used their setup instructions and entered 10765. That corrected it. I was glad since I spent over an hour to get it right.

The DTA setup is on the comcast website [Link: comcast.com]

This 1991 code worked fine for me on a TV/DVD Model Polaroid TDA 03211C using a URC 2060 Remote. It would not work on my Polaroid TLA-01911C 19" TV
Now I need help on a URC-=1030B04 which is a small four button remote that I need to program for a friend who has dementia and can not comprehend.
This controll can only accept the first four digits 1,2,3,4 Since it is a four button only (channel Up/Down and Sound) it uses the vol up/down buttons for the digits 1 and 2 and it uses the channel up/down button for the digits 3 and 4.
I have seen these controls in use in many motels who have customers who abscound with the controls. They are cheap. Anybody got the codes?

I'm sorry but the TLA-01911C uses a codeset too new to be in that old remote. The UEI code for that model is 10835/0835.

I have a polaroid lcd flm 1514B tv that I cannot find a code for to program my new digital adapter remote with...I have tried all the codes under polaroid LCD and regular tv, as well as mitsubishi codes....nothing seems to work...I did notice that when I try to put inthe codes, (hold set down until I see two red blinks and then enter the code, all I get is a single red blink and nothing more..I also did notice that many times when I enter a 5 digit code, the tv seems to jump to the channel number of the last digit of the code...I am starting to suspect the remote. Another tv I have was easily programmed the first code used...not sure if this is how I can ask the question since I am new to this site...

There is a pretty close match using code 10030, which will do Vol+/-, mute, CH+/- and power.

You can also try 10178 or 11758.

By digital adaptor, I assume you mean the remote labeled Delta in the Comcast remote pictures.  If you have one of the DVR or On Demand remotes, tell us, because those remotes can be customized to make every function on the TV work.

Let us know if this works.

yes on the delta model...have tried all the codes you suggested, but no luck....thanks for the reply. I have sent an email to Polaroid to ask them specifically what code to use with the delta remote and comcast DTA. not sure what to expect if anything...

We're not guessing here. The website hifi-remote.com has a file describing the IR signals that the 1514B responds to. I've looked those up, and that shows 10030 will work as the setup code. To check that, I used a DTA remote to teach Vol and Power to another learning remote, and downloaded the learned signal via a JP1 cable into the computer. That verifies that the DTA remote, using 10030, does send the IR protocol NEC1, device 4, function code 2 for Vol+, function code 3 for Vol-, and function code 8 for Power. All of these signals match the file at hifi-remote. (The Power button first sends the power signal for the DTA, and then for the TV.)

So the task here is to get the setup code into the remote, since we know that 10030 is a good setup code.

Press and hold down the Set button until it blinks twice. When you first press it, it blinks once, but keep holding it down. Should take about 3-4 seconds before it blinks twice. Then release it. Next, use the number buttons to enter 10030.
When you enter the 5th digit, it should blink twice, which tells you that the code was accepted.
While entering the setup code, if the first button you press is anything other than a 1, the remote will give a longer single blink. No good.

If you can't get the remote to accept 10030 after a few tries, then do a 981 reset. Press until 2 blinks, then enter 981. The remote should blink twice.
Then try entering the setup code again.

Thank you ever so much for all your work....

I followed the instructions to a tee and still could not get it to work...after I entered the code I did get two blinks and then pushed the power button on the remote and no response...also tried to push the channel + and no response... entered the 981, got two blinks and then tried 10030 again after two blinks and still no response from the power button on the remote. Also tried to power off the DTA box, reverse batteries in the remote to reset that (suggestion from the comcast tech). At this point I can only conclude that my TV is incompatible with the comcast DTA and/or remote (this was the reply from the Polaroid tech when I asked him about a code, which he could not find for my model flm 1514B lcd TV)....This is also the second DTA and remote I have tried since I exchanged the first one assuming it was a faulty product (remote or DTA box or both)...of course that could still be the case with the current one?

I guess I could buy another remote to see if I can teach it to run my DTA and TV? I have a new harmony 880 that I am using on my main TV, but have not set this one up just yet...await a battery. But somehow to buy another remote almost seems like overkill for the situation...I may end up giving the problem right back to Comcast...as if that would change anything...

Channel +/- is not supposed to do anything to the TV-- the Comcast remote sends Ch+/- signals which will change the DTA channel. Power should work with the TV, although the TV may be confused by the preceding IR signal which is for the DTA power. Did TV volume work?

Is the remote able to control the DTA? Actually I'm confused. Can you get any picture/sound using the TV with the DTA? Do you have the original TV remote? Is the TV channel set to channel 3?

And, are you really sure that this is a Polaroid flm 1514B?
