Problem: I purchased a new "One For All" remote & can not get my DVR/Cable to work with it. If someone has the code that they can share that would be great. I tried to make it learn & that does not seem to work well either. =(
Equipment:
One For All Remote: URC-6690
DVR/Cable: Motorola BMC9012
Cable Provider: Adelphia

Many learning remotes can't learn from the moxi oem remote. The code is cab 1187, but you will need to have it loaded via upgrade. I don't know if the 6690 has a modem for phone upgrades.

I'm sorry I'm a Noob with remotes does this mean that my new remote wont work with my Cable/DVR? Would it be worth it to purchase a JP1 cable and try that? When you say loaded via upgrade does that mean I must send it back to the manufactuer? Thanks!!

I think I have fixed it! I have been trying to teach by making it learn each button & so far its working. This is ALOT of work PLEASE tell me this thing will remember once I change battieries?

Yes it will remember it for the short time it takes to replace the batteries.
