Anyone have a good code to control a DirecTV D10-300 satellite box for the 6131n?

Sorry, this is none. You need to ship it off for an upgrade, to have setup code SAT 1377 loaded.

Ugh...and the D10-300 remote won't work my TV (Duraband). Man, what a mess.

Do any of the OFA remotes work the D10-300?

No, they all need to be upgraded. But remotes like 8910, 9910 and the kameleons can be upgraded with a phone call. No ned to ship them. The only non-PC programmable universal remotes with preset code for D10 Sats, is the HTM mx-350 & 650.

Newer remotes like the urc-8820 or 10820 have a large learning memory, so you could teach them the commands for the D10-300 from the Sat oem remote.

Thanks for the info. I am just going to return the 6131n and get a 8910 then have them upgrade it.

It is a nice remote, but don't feel like sending it all the way in and waiting when I can get a the other today and just call them to upgrade it now. I am just impatient. :)

Got the 8910 over the weekend and called support this afternoon for the upgrade....worked great over the phone....easy upgrade. Yeah!
