I presently have an 8910 and like it. It controls a Toshiba TV, a Marantz audio receiver, a JVC CD changer, a ReplayTV PVR, a DishNetwork Satellite box and a Cyberhome DVD player. Most of those were added via OFA's upgrade process.

I am thinking about getting a 10820 to do the same things. Does anyone know if it comes with codes for the various devices I mentioned, or would they also have to be downloaded. I have pretty much run out of memory on the 8910 and have heard that 10820 has much more.

I might miss the backlighting on the 8910, but I can always turn on a light. One thing I don't like about the 8910 is the ring that is used for the arrow nagivation keys. It is always hard to press.

Of course, it might be a pain to have to relearn a new layout, as well as reprogram the remote.

The current price for the remote is $17.25, including a high shippnig charge. This seems very cheap. Is there any known problem with this item to make it so cheap?

Any suggestions.

List the codes, I can tell you if they're in the 10820.
